History of Regina Apartments
Regina is the capital city of the Province of Saskatchewan. Originally a humble railway crossing known as Pile of Bones, in 1882 it was renamed to Regina (Latin for "Queen") in honour of Queen Victoria—also the source of its nickname "Queen City." The city's growth has continued in the last few decades, with an 11% population increase between 2011 and 2016, and a current population of about 229,000 people. With such population growth, the city's multi-family residential market has also soared, resulting in a number of low-density apartment buildings centered in specific areas of the city.
