Everyone has days where they get home from work and just don't want to cook. Thankfully, if you're living with us at Mainstreet, our buildings are considered to be in prime locations for a multitude of reasons, including a large number of excellent restaurants located near our buildings.
10119 – 100A Street
Located near our central region, this small taqueria in the heart of downtown Edmonton regularly can be seen with lines out the door. They keep their menu simple, having a variety of different meats that can be ordered in tacos, tortas (essentially a large sandwhich), or quesadilla form. Add in excellent appetizers and a wide variety of drinks and you've got excellent food to take out or eat in.
#102, 10359 – 104 Street
Prior to this restaurant opening, Tres Carnales was the best Mexican restaurant in town according to most people. Since Rostizado opening in the Mercer building, they have stolen this title. Luckily for the owners of Tres Carnales, they own Rostizado as well. Another Mexican restaurant, this place puts together amazing dishes with meat off their rotisserie. Add in a multitude of side dishes and the best Churros I've ever had and you can't go wrong eating here. Just be sure to call in a reservation well in advance or book with their app. I've seen four hour waits form as soon as they open their doors.
10810 – 124 Street
If you like barbecue and are anywhere near 124 Street, this place is worth checking out. An authentic Southern Bar-B-Q restaurant, Smokehouse has managed to deliver the full experience of visiting a BBQ joint in the Southern States. A wide variety of dishes and a few trays that have a little bit of everything ensures you'll be walking out of here happy and full.
10623 – 124 Street
If you're not paying attention you can easily drive by this little restaurant on 124 Street but you'd be missing out if you did. A nice little Thai restaurant, they offer a large number of dishes that will appeal to everyone while also remaining affordable. Over the years they have also received their fare share of awards and write ups in various publications. Just have one meal here and you'll understand why.

What started out as a small neapolitan pizzeria on Jasper Avenue, Famoso quickly expanded to multiple other locations around Edmonton so there is always one nearby. With a wide variety of chef-inspired thin-crust pizzas as well as the ability to make your own, there's something for everyone here. Finish off your pizza and move on to their delicious nutella pizza or one of their many gelato flavors and you're sure to leave here satisfied.
