Bird is a globally present micro transportation company that provides residents of larger urban areas access to electric scooters via an app-based platform. You may have seen the scooters around downtown Calgary the past few summers. Bird has a massive presence in YYC.
One of the main reasons we chose to partner with Bird is that we both have strong ties to the inner city and we are constantly looking for ways to innovate and improve the daily lives of customers. Bird also brings a sustainable approach on transportation, and an option to live car-free in the city. Mainstreet also shares these values and beliefs and sees a great synergy with Bird here.
