One of the most vibrant and trendy spots in the city of Calgary is Inglewood! Located just minutes from the downtown core, Inglewood offers a true inner-city living experience. Besides being only a short bike, walk, or electric scooter into downtown, Inglewood is also only a few blocks east of the Elbow River. Bike paths and parks are very prominent in the area, making Inglewood a great spot to get outside during the warmer months.

 

Inglewood is also home to some of the oldest architecture in the city! Old heritage buildings line 9th Ave which is the heart of Inglewood. One of the best parts of the community of Inglewood is the local amenities. 9th Ave is lined with eateries, shops, and bars. Many of these are local Calgary businesses that offer some of the best cuisines in the city such as The Nash, Gorilla Whale, and Without Papers Pizza.

 

Inglewood is also directly adjacent from Fort Calgary, which is a common host to large outdoor events and festivals. Inglewood also hosts a night market, where many local vendors come together to offer products and services, this is a great way to spend a nice summer evening, you can even bring your dog along with you!
